Not So Emerald Green & Lace

DSC_0981 DSC_0977 DSC_0973 DSC_0971 DSC_0968 DSC_0966I might not be wearing Pantone’s “Color of the Year” here, but I am not too far off the yellow brick road from that emerald green city. (If you missed that allusion, I’m so over you.)
As you all may know from my previous post, I’ve been reading and listening to messages from Joel Osteen. Again, I am going to share a little nugget of wisdom I got from my readings: What follows your “I am” is going to come looking for you. For example, if you say “I am ugly, or I am not smart” you are inviting those negative things into your life. If you change what follows your “I am” you will live a better life. Instead say, “I am blessed and I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Now you are inviting good things into your life. Words are powerful. Don’t say negative things about yourself and expect positive things to happen to you.

Okay, Love. Enough of that. Ps. If you are completely happy or completely annoyed by my little messages let me know in the comments.

What I’m Wearing: shirt- New York & Company, skirt- Target (here), bag- Aldo,
